About Our School

The school was started in 2004 after Kilgoris Secondary School was split into two by the area MP Honorable Gideon Konchellah. This led to the formation of Kilgoris Girls Secondary School, the shining school in the serene Mara Environment.

We believe in raising in nurturing reputable young women of the future. We set firm foundation for the girls in both moral and spiritual atmosphere to be accountable in the society in the days to come. The Alumni of the school has so far started being absorbed in various services in building our country and we have witnessed few coming back to thank the School for the good job done in molding them to whom they are today.

Our Education Programs are tailored to realize gifts of the girls in early stages and nurturing their talents in both academic and extra curricula activities.We have several clubs and departments of which the students are encouraged to join depending on their career will, abilities and talents. To mention but a few, we have Girls Guides Clubs, Music Club, Bible Studies, Young Farmers Club, Drama/Music, French, Wildlife, Art/Craft Club and more The School has 17 teachers employed by the government and 4 by Board of Managers for the school.School Vision

The School offers the following according the 8-4-4 syllabus: Mathematics, English, Kiswahili, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, C.R.E, Agriculture, Computer, Home Science, Business Studies and Physical Education.
